Refund policy

This policy explains when money paid to UIMS can and cannot be returned. It applies to every institution and firm that buys UIMS, including its modules, setup, onboarding, data services and any add-on. This text describes how UIMS operates and does not replace legal advice.

UIMS is an enterprise ERP. Each institution is set up for its own organisation, its own people, its own fee structures and its own records, and that work begins only after the institution has seen the product in a proper demo and decided to take it. The release is therefore a commitment on both sides, and the setup, configuration and data work done for the client cannot be taken back.

A client is given a proper demo of the modules it has asked for, on its own requirements, before any release. The release follows that demo. Once the client has accepted the release and the setup has started, the fees and charges are not refunded.

• Subscription, licence and module fees once the ERP has been released.
• Setup, onboarding, configuration, data import and training work already carried out.
• Payment gateway, SMS, WhatsApp and other third-party charges already incurred.
• Fees paid for a plan or period that has started.

Where a payment was taken twice, or a payment was taken for a release that was never made, UIMS will return the amount. We will also correct any charge that does not match the agreement signed by the institution. Such corrections are raised in writing through the contact page, with the payment reference.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Institutions are told in advance of any change that affects a signed agreement.
