One ERP for the whole University, and every College that affiliates to it.
Faculties, departments, programmes, examinations, governance and hundreds of affiliated Colleges. UIMS keeps them on one record, from the first application to the convocation and the Alumni record that follows.

The problems this solves.
A University is many departments under one set of rules. These are the places where that usually breaks down.
- Curriculum changes that must pass through the Board of Studies, the Academic Council and the Executive Council, and be recorded as they do.
- Examinations where a single leak, a wrong mark or a late result damages the University's name.
- Affiliated Colleges that each send their own marks, forms and fees, and must be checked against the University's rules.
- Accreditation reports that need outcome evidence, not self-reported marks.

Academics and governance
Set up the academic structure once, and move every change through the bodies that must approve it.
- Faculties, departments, programmes, semesters, papers, chapters and topics, in one structure.
- Curriculum changes approved by the Board of Studies, the Academic Council and the Executive Council, with each approval recorded.
- Governance committees and their records.
- Outcome-based education: programme and course outcomes linked with a strength matrix, and attainment measured from real quiz and exam answers.
- Attainment reports for accreditation, in Excel and PDF, with the actions taken to improve and year-on-year trends.

Admissions and counselling
From the first enquiry to the seat, with the reservation and merit rules the University already follows.
- Online applications on the University's own portal, with one parent account able to apply for more than one child.
- Marks typed by an applicant are checked against official marks, and category claims are checked against their certificates.
- University-run counselling across its affiliated Colleges, in several rounds: a student can lock a seat, keep it open for a better one, or move up.
- Merit lists under the University's own rules and tie-breakers, frozen and published as a PDF.
- Reservation of seats by category, with a seat matrix, and waitlists that move up automatically.

Examinations and results
The whole examination cycle, from paper to degree, for the University and its Colleges.
- Question papers set to a blueprint, moderated, locked and sent securely for printing.
- Answer scripts coded, so evaluators never see roll numbers. Marks are decoded only after every mark is in.
- CBCS results: credits, grades, SGPA and CGPA worked out automatically, with a result gazette and merit lists.
- Re-evaluation, photocopies, supplementary exams and grievances after the result.
- Unfair means cases recorded, heard and decided, including debarment.
- Degree certificates issued digitally with QR verification, and lodged with the National Academic Depository (DigiLocker). Convocation planned from registration to the degree list.

Affiliated Colleges
The University sees its Colleges' part of the work, and the Colleges see only their own.
- Colleges apply for affiliation. Inspections are recorded, the norms are checked and affiliation fees are invoiced.
- Compliance, renewal and withdrawal are tracked for each College.
- A public registry of affiliated Colleges, and College faculty rosters.
- Colleges submit internal and practical marks, attendance and exam forms, and send exam-fee money to the University.

Money, research and Alumni
The University's finances, research and graduates in the same record as its students.
- Every fee, grant, examiner payment and bill posts to Finance & Accounts, with grants and endowments kept in separate ledgers.
- Examiner payments calculated only from verified work, with TDS deducted for each person and financial year.
- Sponsored research from funding call to closure, with utilisation certificates and the institution's research return.
- An Alumni directory, events, mentoring, a job board and fundraising, so graduates stay connected.
How it runs, step by step.
A University year, in the order the work actually happens.
Plan the year

Admit and count seats
Applications, merit lists and counselling rounds run on the University's rules, and every seat is recorded.
Teach and assess
Learning, online tests and continuous assessment run in the LMS and the Assessment Engine, and outcomes are measured as they happen.

Papers are secured, evaluation is anonymous, and results are published with CBCS grades, ranks and merit lists.
Certify
Degrees and marksheets are issued with QR verification and lodged with the National Academic Depository.
Close and report
Accounts close, accreditation reports are produced, and the Alumni record carries the graduate forward.

Questions people ask about Universities.
Does UIMS handle affiliated Colleges?
Yes. Colleges apply for affiliation, inspections and fees are recorded, and the University sees its Colleges' marks, forms and results in one place. Each College sees only its own part.
How are results kept fair?
Answer scripts are coded, so evaluators never see roll numbers. Marks are decoded and results published only after evaluation is complete.
Can outcome-based education reports be produced for accreditation?
Yes. Outcome attainment is measured from real quiz and exam answers, and reports can be downloaded in Excel and PDF, with the improvement actions and year-on-year trends.
Are degrees verifiable?
Yes. Degree and marksheet documents carry QR verification, and they can be lodged with the National Academic Depository in the student's DigiLocker.
