One ERP for the assessment firm: secure tests, marked fairly, taken anywhere.

An assessment firm is judged on two things: that its tests stay secret, and that its results are right. UIMS runs question banks, secure delivery, offline centres and marking from one engine.

The problems this solves.

An assessment firm's product is trust. These are the places that trust is usually lost.

Question banks

Questions written, approved and kept secure before any candidate sees them.

  • 21 question types, including multiple choice, multiple answer, numerical, essay, file upload, spoken response, comprehension and coding.
  • Coding questions run in a safe sandbox, with partial marks for each passed test case.
  • An approval workflow: draft, approved, archived. Approved questions are frozen, and an edit makes a new version.
  • Question content encrypted, and answer keys never reaching the candidate's screen.

Test design and delivery

Tests built from templates, and delivered at the level of security each client needs.

  • Reusable templates for marks, pass mark, negative marking, timing, sections and result release.
  • Random questions by tag or bank, with each candidate's set frozen at the start.
  • Monitoring from an open browser test to a locked exam computer, with the level set for each test.
  • Candidates sign a monitoring declaration, and a proctor reviews every flag and marks it clean, escalated or breach.

Offline exam centres

Tests delivered where there is no reliable internet.

  • The Centre-Server Box: an encrypted, time-locked paper sent to an approved box at the centre.
  • The box serves the test on the centre's local network, and handles crashed computers and moving a candidate to another machine.
  • Answers returned to the central system, checked for tampering and marked centrally. The box never holds the answer key.
  • After the exam, the box wipes itself securely, and centre staff never see the paper.

Marking, results and analysis

Marks that are right, and the evidence that they are.

  • Instant marking for objective and coding questions, and a rubric-based queue for written answers, with re-marking.
  • Item analysis: how hard each question was, how well it separated strong and weak candidates, and which options were chosen.
  • Questions that may have a wrong answer key flagged, and the overall reliability of the test shown.
  • Participation, integrity and forensic views of each attempt.
  • Exports to Excel, PDF and JSON, for one test, several tests or by batch.

Large recruitment exams

Written exams for hiring at scale.

  • OMR scoring, cut-offs, a reservation roster, merit lists and allotment.
  • An answer-key challenge window for objective exams.

Your brand on every screen

The firm's name and identity, not the platform's.

  • The firm's logo, colours, tagline and name on every screen, email, PDF and certificate.
  • The firm's own web address, as a subdomain or a path on its own site.

How it runs, step by step.

A test, from the question to the certificate.

  1. Write

A question is written, reviewed and approved, and then frozen.

  2. Build

A test is built from a template, with sections and random questions drawn by tag or bank.

  3. Schedule

Candidates are picked up, the test is scheduled, and the monitoring level is chosen.

  4. Take

The candidate passes a system check and takes a timed, sectioned test, online or at a centre.

  5. Mark

Objective and coding answers are marked at once, and written answers go to the marking queue.

  6. Analyse and certify

Item analysis shows which questions need work, and results and certificates are issued under the firm's brand.

Who uses it.

The people in an assessment firm, and what each one needs from the system.

Questions people ask about Assessment Firms.

Can an answer key reach a candidate?

No. Answer keys are never shown on the candidate's screen, and question content is encrypted.

How do offline centres keep papers secret?

The paper is encrypted and time-locked, served only through an approved box, and the box wipes itself after the exam. Centre staff never see the paper, and the box never holds the answer key.

What does item analysis show?

How hard each question was, how well it separated strong and weak candidates, which options were chosen, and which questions may have a wrong answer key.

Can the firm use its own brand?

Yes. The firm's logo, colours, tagline and name appear on every screen, email, PDF and certificate, and the firm can use its own web address.
